Adult Classes

This class introduces adult students to the basics of Indian classical-folk-fusion dance, including foundational steps of Manipuri, Odissi and folk styles. No prior dance experience is required. Comfortable clothes are recommended. Learn More

Children's Classes

The Notinee Children's Class introduces young dancers to Indian music and dance steps, mudras or hand positions, and creates a foundation for further study. Class is currently full, but we are waitlisting students in case of cancellations. Learn More
Notinee Indian Dance of Birmingham, AL

The dance is Indian, but the group is international! Notinee includes members who are Indian and Indian-American and also Amerian-born and foreign-born members of many different ethnic origins. In keeping with the vision of its founder, Notinee's dance is for everyone to enjoy.
