Meet the Notinee Children's Group |

Urmi Roy's parents came to USA from West Bengal, India. Urmi was born on 18th August 2000, at Fargo, North Dakota. She started dancing at the age of 3, and her first stage performance was at North Dakota at the Diwali (Festival of lights) Celebration in October, 2003. She was one of the first students to join the Notinee children's group. Urmi is now in 3rd grade at the Deer Valley Elementary School. Apart from dance, Urmi loves playing soccer, chess and swimming. |

Suneeti Chambers is 7 years old, and is in first grade at the J.S. Bruno Montessori Academy. She started Notinee classes at age 5. She loves the Notinee costumes and makeup, and her favorite dance is the Harvest song. Suneeti also attends Hindi and Religion classes at the Hindu Temple, enjoys swimming, and attends Chinmaya Mission Bal Vihar classes. She likes eating pizza, coloring, and dressing up. Her favorite Bhajan (Devotional song) is "Raghupati Raghava Raja Ram." She is a devotee of Sri Krishna. |

Maya Kitchens is 6 years old, and a first grader at Highland School. She has been dancing with the Notinee children's group since 2007, and promises to dance with Notinee till she leaves for college! Maya also enjoys enjoys soccer, art, swimming and she is a yellow belt in karate. |

Devin Creel is a third grader who loves dance, music and art. She has been performing with Notinee for almost two years. |

Named after India ’s famous Prime Minister Indira Gandhi, Indira Evangelina Singh was born on Women’s Day, March 8, 2002. Indira is a first grader at Vestavia Hill Elementary East. She enjoys swimming, dancing, and traveling with her parents Dora and Sanjay Singh . She is very close to her Grandmother Dora Elsye and together they spend a lot of time watching TV and learning Spanish. |

Labdhi Mehta is 6 yrs, Grade k5 at Bruno Montessori Academy. She started Notinee classes at age 5. She loves the rhythmic hand and foot movements, and the "namaskar" ritual before dance. Labdhi also learns Jain Sutras, Hindi, chess, swimming, attends Chinmaya Mission, and has won a medal in the Regional Taekwondo championship. She likes reading, bird-feeding, and hanging out with friends & family. |
